Nicole Johnson is the Owner + Artist of Streetdiva Designs. A local company specializing in ceramic beads and pendants. Nicole was always drawing, coloring, or making something as a child. In high school, she was introduced to ceramics. She excelled with the medium and continued studying Art at Gordon College in Barnesville, GA. After obtaining her Associates of Art, Nicole went to Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta. There she experienced multiple mediums and techniques; such as Life Drawing, Printmaking, and Basketmaking. After graduating from GA State University with a Studio Art Degree in 2002, Nicole taught a variety of ceramic, drawing, and summer camp art classes to children.
Chattanooga has been home since Christmas of 2005. Nicole and her husband now have 2 boys, ages 9 and 4. As a stay at home Mom and small business owner, she stays busy with her ETSY shop and taking the boys to their activities. Nicole really enjoys being a vendor at small craft shows and sharing her art with the community. She is definitely in her element while chatting with people about the artistic process.
