Assistive Technology (AT) is any device that which make someone with a disability more independent. A variety of commercial and custom-fabricated AT products will be available for hands-on engagement. Make-it-take-it craft activity also provided.
Ezra has been making and building things since childhood. Sometimes his childhood repairs even worked! He started computer consulting at 12, and has over 25 years experience in tech support / network administration / IT. He graduated UTC with a BS in Computer Science:Information Systems and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering. He has worked at Signal Centers for 10 years as an Assistive Technology Design Specialist, where he makes and adapts custom equipment for people with disabilities. He gets to use awesome maker tools such as 3D printer and CNC machine to help create his devices. He regards himself as an even mixture of artist and engineer. His artistic pursuits include poetry, photography, tie-dye, stained glass, and computerized art. He is married and has six young children who are highly skilled in the destructive arts.
